“This is a hands-down utterly fantastic adaptation! Lovecraft isn’t easy to adapt, but the creators, cast and crew have engaged in some real magic here. The story and characters are excellent, the pacing is top notch, and the atmosphere is chilling. I’m a jaded horror fan and many of the jump scares worked even on me. Also, the modernization of the story is phenomenal—great use of social and occult history to flesh out the story. Hopefully we hear more from this creative team!”
