Very intriguing discussion about a complicated topic
They discuss some very interesting aspects of making the series such as the decision to not use Russian accents, which characters are real and which are amalgams, and which lines were actually said. You can’t discuss Chernobyl without discussing the political motivations of a socialist country. Some people will be turned off by that but don’t let it stop you from listening to the podcast, it’s actually really good.
