A Civil War is the worst kind of war if there ever could be a good war, Families divided etc. Here in Uk we have all heard about the American Civil War and are taught that it was a war against slavery..but Richard and Tracy have gone that extra bit more to explain why this War broke out with great care and to stay neutral as far as possible, it is all too easy to look back with disdain at History from a modern position but they take the trouble to explain the events and attitudes of all people from the perspective of the times this podcast is about.
One of the most celebrated podcasts is of course Mike Duncan's History of Rome..Quite simply this podcast is in the same league both for content and length and informality. Well done to you, you are enlightening many people the world over and I believe that your efforts will at some time in the future will become a reference work for scholars and those with a passing interest, simply because it is well researched and easy to listen to and learn from.”Read full review »
