“The podcast is a great companion to the TV show. Apart from adding personal insights from the presenters, there are other nuggets as Viv interviews people not directly involved in the Civilisations series, whose stories and viewpoints complement it very well.
I’m no longer tempted to ‘binge watch’ the TV series on iPlayer, preferring instead to watch each episode closely followed by the relevant podcast, week by week as these are released.
Viv’s enthusiasm is infectious, and I feel I can share her joy at meeting the likes of Mary Beard!”
