“After listening for about 3 months, I'm addicted to this podcast! Clark Howard not only gives excellent advice on how to save. He also keeps listeners apprised of current legislation going through Congress that directly affects consumers. His explanations are understandable, even when the subjects are complex. And, he encourages listeners to become educated about their finances; not to just take his word for everything. Even though I disagree with Mr. Howard on some subjects (school vouchers!), his p.o.v. is communicated in such a non-confrontational, factual way that I can happily agree to disagree. Thanks for always caring about the consumer, Clark! The only nitpicks I have are that 1) a few of the podcasts lately have repeated material from less than a week prior (which is very obvious), and 2) sometimes the ripoff segments selected for podcast are quite repetitive. How many times do we have to hear from someone calling about the Nigeria scam, or Craigslists scams? Really, if someone gets bitten by these hoodlums, it's party their fault because so much has been written about them. I think Clark, and the media, need to remind their viewers/listeners of a saying that has been around since, well, Latin was spoken - "Caveat Emptor." That, and "You Never Get Something For Nothing!"”Read full review »

Ramsey and others alike, Clark seems genuine in helping people with their financial woes without being condescending. He doesn't judge his callers or audience, and he treats them with respect. Thanks...”Read full review »
