Classical Guitar Corner Podcast
Classical guitar is a great hobby of mine and I regularly listen to this podcast. Simon Powis invites a variety of interesting guests to talk about just as many interesting topics. Among others he has talked with artists such as David Russell, John Williams, Oscar Ghiglia, Ben Verdery, Bertha Rojas, and Gohar Vardanyan, There also two extremely interesting chats with a luthier about what goes into building an instrument. But players will also find topics such as recording yourself for practice and sight reading on the guitar. Anyone who loves classical guitar should not miss a single one of these podcasts! Highly recommended.

This is a really excellent resource for anyone new to classical guitar. Simon is an outstanding musician and musicologist, with a knack for presenting material in an attractive and approachable way.

I'm loving this podcast. I play flamenco guitar, not classical, but this podcast is great for all sorts of musicians, whether professional or amateur. Lots of great conversations covering a range of topics.Read full review »
