I was brand new to the classical guitar world last year and have now finished listening to all the episodes. This podcast with Simon is so warm, encouraging, insightful, and inspiring. I learned so much and it kept me engaged while I was away from the guitar. Thank you!

I have listened to every CGC Podcast. Some episodes more than once. After 45+ years of playing guitar, I did not know until these Podcasts, CGC Academy YouTube videos and now (4) books from CGC Publishing, that I was playing Classical Guitar improperly. With all of the knowledge I have listed...Read full review »

I have difficulty picking a favorite, but this podcast along with the Tonebase Classical Guitar Podcast are my absolute favorites. This show gets phenomenal guests, and the host/interviewer is super great as well.

Pretty good but you have to skip the first ten minutes of each episode to get past the promotional material about the website and all these events that took place five years ago. Once you get past that there are some good guests. The host's sincerity makes up for his so-so interview skills....Read full review »

I often look a a piece and think that it looks easy, or something I can manage with my current skill level. Some defiitely look way to hard but all of this was gut feel. Then I'd try it and find out. Simon gives a well rounded explanation of the categories to look for in a piece so that...Read full review »
