“The dialogue was whiny. The characters were either boring, underdeveloped, or didn't act according to their development. Ignoring certain hackney plot points and cookie cutter characters is easy enough to do, but at least keep them true to themselves.
Speaking of plot points. It has only been fifteen years since the "world broke" adults would not be confused by words like "woods" (especially considering she read The Hobbit). The addition of the sci-fi element (that never satisfactorily explains the voices in my opinion) felt shoehorned in to attempt (and failed) at a decent "why-it-all-happened".
And while the music score was overdone and distracting, the sound effects added were at least keeping the story engaging. (Even if they were yelled over repeatedly "John! John! John!")
Skip it.”Read full review »

“I think it might be an ok show, but the rousides are just clips of the full thing, which you have to buy.
It's hard to tell what's happening and who is who.
The voice acting sounds more like people are just reading the script and not really acting.”Read full review »
