“I did my very best to enjoy this audio drama. I worked at it. I listened far past the point where I lost interest. I stopped listening and returned to it, thinking maybe it was my mood at the time. I skipped ahead to see if it improved over time. Nothing I tried worked. No matter how hard I focused on trying to make sense of storylines, or trying to picture the characters, the only image I could conjure in my mind was of voice actors in a sound booth. I saw them squinting at a script they could barely see, and hadn't read beforehand. I pictured a director telling them between takes "If you raise your voice, it will indicate you are having an emotion. It doesn't matter which emotion, just do it!" I know that these aren't the images the creators of this series intended me to have while listening, and I apologize. I did my best, and I failed.”Read full review »

“The acting and production are great. I don't always give the post-apocalyptic themed podcasts a chance, mainly because the subject has felt overdone, but when you put some really great voice acting into some really great sound design, it is definitely a fun listen.
