“I wanted to like The Cleansed! I really did! I love Dystopian stories. My two favorite novels are The Road and The Stand.
I just cannot get past the bad and over acting that they have done with this story. Before you think I did not give it a chance, I gave it 3. On 2 previous occasions I started on Episode 0 and could not get through it.
I kept seeing The Cleansed while looking for some new fictional audio. I’m all caught up on King Falls AM, Alice Isn't Dead and Welcome To Night Vale. I finished both We’re Alive’s and a few others.
This third time I was committed. I downloaded 0, 1 and 2 last night and listened. Without other distractions. Open mind.
It was hard. The story was ok. The acting is not. Not just one person either. Across the board.

“Great show, it's hard to find good audio dramas. The voice acting is decent and the writing is well done. Both can be a little cheese at times but nothing to bad. Really like all the different characters and storylines going on. Complex story but told in a way that makes it easy to follow along.”Read full review »
