The worst Doctor Who podcast on the internet
After 21 episodes of careful listening we finally get a Doctor Who review, only to find that Richard Herrin, so called, self proclaimed celebrity Doctor Who expert is no more than a sham. His obvious infatuation for the show, signposted by his careful scattering of classic series references throughout previous episodes brought us all to believe that one day the podcast would reach its true potential as the number one Doctor Who review podcast on the internet. Today however, all was revealed as the discussion about the 'stunt casting' showed a scandalous lack of knowledge for the original series. In the show today it was stated that 'old' Doctor Who has never employed celebrities to gain ratings. Have you forgotten the legendary casting of such headline grabbers as Ken Dodd, Bonnie Langford, Don Henderson and Beryl Reid? Edward Brayshaw (Harold Meeker from Rentaghost)? The towering performances of Michael Sheard (Mr Bronson from Grange Hill). I will never listen to your podcast again an will instead retreat to the comfortable womb of the ever welcoming Outpost Gallifrey online interweb forum. Disgraceful.Read full review »
