Andrew Collins hurts my ears
I don't think i'm the only person who feels this way: Richard Herring is hilarious and Andrew Collins is a tedious, boring, irritant. However, Collins is a necessary evil that we have to tolerate because the podcast would probably never happen without him (Richard Herring seems fairly ambivalent about the whole thing). Listening to the podcast is a bit like being in the pub with an old friend who has unfortunately brought along his over-excited brother-in-law who quickly gets drunk and starts haranguing the whole table in a loud nasal voice about his psycho-somatic "wheat intolerance" and the Daily Mail's hypocritical stance on female nudity. The podcast gets two stars because my appreciation of Herring, though significant, simply cannot cancel out my intense loathing of Collins. Just an opinion- i could be wrong.......Read full review »

This is very good; it's well observed, funny and entertaining. You quickly get sucked in to the in jokes and the relaxed sound of two funny, intelligent people talking about current events in the world and their lives never descends into the unstructured or pompous.
