The best podcast ever made
Ok, the best podcast ever made might be a little hyperbolic - I haven’t listened to every podcast ever made so I can’t be objective. BUT, it’s up there. Stuart is affable and calm, which makes him the perfect interviewer. He is funny but not domineering, a trait I’ve noticed in podcasts hosted by comedians that want to be the centre of attention. What is so superb about this series is it’s ability to take you behind the facade of both performer and person. If, like me, you have experience performing (comedy or otherwise) it is technically helpful. However, I feel that even if you can’t engage with it in that way because you are not a performer, the conversations also touch upon so many aspects of human nature, our relationships and the world around us that the conversations Stu facilitates are just generally fascinating insight to people and how we think/behave.

This is a brilliant little podcast that takes you into the mind and life of a variety of comedian, but maintaing fresh high quality humour that it could easily miss. Stewart is a great host, probing where he needs to and letting the stories flow elsewhere. A must for fans of comedy new and old.
