I remember a time when I was lost in a sea of graphic novels, guided only by random recommendations that had been gleaned from spurious sources. I felt like a freshly born vampire, I knew what I lusted for but I had no guide to show me the way to quench my eternal need. Until one day a golden ray of divine light shot forth from the heavens which are the Box of Geek. The day that I heard Ryan utter "we are starting a comics podcast" my life had focus, purpose, meaning like never before. In the chill barren land of Ireland from whence I hail there is a dearth of aficionadi from which to learn from but now I have sources from the new world which have gifted me with such delights as the Thing of the Swamp, The Man of Sand and of course Holy Terror by Frank Miller. To Summarize, I write this glowing piece of adulatory prose not to flatter, nor to praise, nor still to feed any egos but to thank but Ryan and Brock for all the times they have helped me cope with the pressures of life and saved me from the Holy Terror of bad comics.
