Each week, every Tuesday, this is the first comic book podcast I seek out and download.
Sadly, after listening, I have to wait another 6 and a half days or so ‘til the next one.
U get drawn in.
I can’t explain it exactly, but listen in and U will see what I mean.
Certainly the hosts (Ryan and Brock) and guests (ok, not that many, and not that often) know their stuff – they definitely are subject matter experts.
It’s not only “what” they say, but “how” they say it.
Despite the fact that these guys are not the most organized or prepared, the podcasts are a real success because the hosts are definitely genuine, honest, and informed.
Even if things get off track, it is still strangely engrossing.
Sort of like a car wreck – there are times U know it might be better not to watch/listen (e.g. if the topic is the New Ultimate Spiderman, or when Ryan gets going on the New Warriors, etc.), but U just can’t help yourself.
Quite often I disagree with the opinions of the hosts, though that can make the podcasts themselves even more provocative and interesting.
U will of course form your own opinion, but all I can say is that U can’t do that until U become a listener.
Almost every episode I learn something that I did not know about comics – I love that!

Thanks again Ryan and Brock – keep up the great work. I know it is not a comment on the podcast, but I also have to add that I especially appreciate the generous periodic in-store sales events at the Comics Conspiracy store. Those sales keep me in reading material year round and at a price I can afford. Appreciate your looking out for us comics fans!
