I randomly stumbled across this podcast and it has quickly become one my favs. They cover really interesting topics that not a lot of other pods are doing, and they know their stuff coming from an academic background as opposed to many educational pods where the hosts cover interesting topics but they just recite info from Wikipedia. Also they don’t fall into the “douche trap” that a lot of academics and science people do, they’re not pretentious and they present things in an open minded fashion. So all in all if you like educational podcasts and/or learning cool things you should give this hidden gem a listen!

This podcast is mostly about paleontology, but aimed at a popular science audience. The presenters discuss articles in scientific literature, and provide sources for everything, but jargon is either avoided or explained so it’s easy to understand if paleontology isn’t your field.
