Captivating,
I am a big fan of interview style podcasts + true crime, and this podcast, is one of the best I have listened to. I binge listened within 3 days to the full series and I am disappointed I have finished it now! The host is sensitive, empathetic and very much so a realist, in how there is a reflection of the perspectives, the good and not so good, of the people within this story (Barry, I am hinting to here) and of course the acknowledgment of the horror that occurred within Centrepoint & the ongoing ripples. Barry, whom was so open, so honest in acknowledging her wrongs, where she should have been more proactive, I believe she played the important role as almost a ‘co-host’ and I loved the ‘full-circle’ ending that the host summarised at the end of episode 12. I did find it remarkable the way the podcast host had reflective discussions with the guests with conflicting views and on air, they were navigating and clearly having epiphanies of how deeply problematic and wrong either their doings were or their internalised battles with morals of their own and those of centrepoint.

I live in Takapuna so not too far away. Grew up being aware of Centrepoint but not the nitty gritty. Wow! Always thought Bert Potter looked like a creepy old grogan but this blew my mind & turned my stomach. Kudos to both Adam, Eugene & your talented team. Can’t wait to see what you do...Read full review »
