Comprehensive and sensitive
This is an incredibly thorough, professional and fair exploration of the Centrepoint Cult in New Zealand. The 12 episodes are the result of painstaking research and include frank and confronting interviews, which at times are not for the faint hearted. This is a story which must be told, and truths which must be heard, if only to create an awareness of the potential for real evil when people are manipulated by, and blindly follow, a person who was essentially a con man. At times I struggled with the subject matter being reported, but have made it to the end with nothing but admiration for the reporters who have told an extremely difficult and deeply complex story with sensitivity and professionalism. This is the first “stuff” podcast I have listened to: if the others are of this quality I am set for podcasts for a while during my long commutes to work!

This is a very compelling podcast. The research is comprehensive and the telling of the stories is both engaging and disturbing. I knew much of the history but not all the depths of depravity that is uncovered.

A really engaging and fascinating listen. Well researched and presented.

Great story. Pity the ‘journalists’ need to keep reminding listeners how much they disapprove. Why not just tell the story!
