Marred by Distracting Sound Mixes
This well-done podcast is marred by the confusing decision to play historical audio from the commune with purposeful distortion. I get the ambiance that the producers are probably aiming for, but, find myself disappointed in the missed opportunity of hearing the communal messaging with original tone and inflection.

Deep interviews reflect on how people saw things at the time versus now. And how many people had different pieces of the puzzle, but not all put together, although wrongdoers were hiding in plain sight. We need to learn the lessons.

Absolutely fascinating to hear inside operations of life in a commune in that era. Heartbreaking and sadly confronting how people can pray on others. Presentation of this podcast was very professional and I would thoroughly recommend to all listeners. Thanks for sharing.

Couldn’t stop listening once I’d started, showcases the more sinister side of New Zealand. Great research and production and beautiful narrated. Leaves you feeling like you need a good shower with grit soap afterwards though..
