“It really is a shame how overly right wing this show has become over the past year or so. If I had writen this review a while back I would have given it 5 stars. Now I am on the verge of unsubscribing and haven’t listened for a few weeks.
This show used to be a real favorite of mine: it dealt in depth with a wide variety of important subjects with a lot of interesting guests. While I did not always accept the points of view of the guests I thought the host, Richard Syrett, put a great effort into bringing balance and a world view to the discussion and he obviously took the time to get informed on the subject of the day.
Unfortunately for some reason the host's apparent right wing bias has influenced a change for the worse in the show's agenda and its selection of guests. His question lines have lost their neutral balance. He seems fixated on the American political scene and the left wng conspiracy and while this is indeed a subject that warrants attention (as well as the right wing conspiracy) Richard seems to be forgetting a basic principal: that the entire political drama is just fodder for the masses to distract us from the real issues. Issues that Richard spent a lot more time investigating in the past. Issues that deal with the real and sinister influences and threats to our world and humanity. For example, over the past few months we've seen quite a few announcements that challenge human evolutionary history that i think are definitely worth a visit in the context of the ancient archaeology therories that have long been expouded and ignored. Now that's a conspiracy.
Let's get back to where we were Richard. Please cast your influence more broadly. There are very few programs that are prepared to deal with this kind of subject matter in a balanced manner and we need more like it from you.
Also one other request: please lose the "whats in the box" drama. I think it's run its course. You're beating a dead horse and as you've already been told, the "experiment" lacks control. I'm also uncomfortable listening to you putting Albert on the spot every week. It seems a little abusive. Let's leave remote viewing to the people who know what they are doing.”Read full review »
