“First: production values. No one mentioned them yet because they are spot on. That takes deliberate effort. And the content here is worthy of it. I suspect I’ll be hearing words from this podcast next time I hit the road. I met Kyle in October 2017 when we passed through Flagstaff AZ. At Flagstaff Camera. Of course. I was westbound, he was eastbound. And weeks later I discovered we’d both been drawn in by the charms of a little green laundromat sporting a yellow sign and attached to a Chinese restaurant in Winslow. You know, the town with that corner people stand on. Kyle: I could shoot fading roadside America the rest of my life. And probably will. I’ve been at it 20 years and still haven’t made the same photo twice. As to whether your three year project made anything book worthy? Go big. Print it. Celebrate the different aspect ratios and cameras. It will sell. Two copies for sure! Congratulations on this newest endeavor.”
