“I have been listening to this podcast ever since it started and I definitely recommend it if you are interested in the latest events in Astronomy, especially South African astronomy !
With the arrival of some of best instruments in the busniess (like MeerKAT, SALT, HERA), South Africa is at the forefront of astronomy and is a place where some of the coolest research is taking place at the moment.
Cosmic Savannah captures the vibrancy and excitement of this environment perfectly ! Dr. Jacinta Delhaize and Dr. Daniel Cunnama are awesome as the hosts of the show, providing a relaxed space in which participating astronomers can explain all the fascinating bits about their work. The commentary is very apposite, interspersed with bouts of humour. This is also a podcast which is socially conscious, bringing to the fore vital contributions by female astronomers as well as astronomers of colour.
Can't recommend strongly enough ! :)”Read full review »
