Excellent storytelling...blurred by business coaching
The biographies are excellent, both in terms of content and style! The coaching element is easily avoidable as it is kept in separate wrap-up episodes. In "The Anabasis", the coaching is merged into the storytelling. This is a pity as the story itself is very exiting but the "winners never quit, quitters never win" jargong is boring.Read full review »

Fantastic podcast - I love the source material and the depth in which the host covers each of the subjects. Fantastic use of Plutarch’s Parallel Lives to give the listener great context and understanding of the times and people.
