More reviews of Cost of Glory
I’ve listened to every single episode, some more than once. The information provided is invaluable. What I find even more valuable is the way Alex builds the world in which the stories take place. It’s truly my favorite form of media; Netflix, YouTube, etc. don’t compare to the Cost of Glory.

This podcast is exceedingly well written and produced. The exploration of the lives of these historical figures is entertaining, educational and impossible to “put down!”

Petkas is the ideal host. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he finds a way to convey that knowledge in a way that offers something for listeners of all backgrounds, whether they be classics majors or entirely new to the ancient world.
