This is a very, very special podcast. I am a 52 year old disabled woman due to autoimmune illnesses. The critter shed reminds me of the beautiful world of nature that is outside my door. I don’t get out as much as I used to and as a once scientist the information is accurate and fascinating....Read full review »

Really fun and interesting podcast. Has awoken a fascination with a part of the natural world I would generally have ignored.

Their passion for nature, even the creepy crawly, is not only enlightening, it’s contagious.

Was wondering how the Critter Shed would cope during lockdown. This episode on Wild Dogs is perfect! It’s funny, fresh and off the cuff, but never shallow. Full of intelligence and love, and I never even notice I’m learning stuff. In fact I might say this for all the episodes I’ve heard. 😊

A great listen. A pang if joy in my walk to and from work. An escape from the usual currant affairs podcasts I get caught up in. I can thoroughly recommend this, I find it casually funny, informative in a conversational way, optimistic and meditative too.

Critter shed is quickly becoming my favourite podcast - anyone who is interested in animals should give it a listen. Funny, casual and refreshing look at the animal world. Hope it keeps going and going.

Title is rather self explanatory, not a topic I would be interested in at all. Great podcast and absolutely addicting, you learn so much in an episode it really helps you appreciate the diversity of insects/arachnids etc. Great show - keep them coming!

I didn’t think I was particularly interested in critters, but give Collie Ennis just 25 minutes of your time and like me you will be disarmed by the sheer passion he has for his specialist subject. I’ve learned and laughed in equal measures.
