“I listened to the first episode produced in 2021 and found it incredibly irritating. McIntosh and Bennington sound like lazy unintelligent young women. I’m not saying they are lazy and unintelligent. They must be the opposite if this podcast is still being produced in 2024. They sound mostly bored or unimpressed with their own content — like high school students forced to read a history paper out loud in class. Even their unscripted, conversational exchanges are boring. Finally they don’t seem to care enough about their stories to do any research of their own, or even figure out how to pronounce common words they aren’t familiar with or hear very often. Maybe they are high school kids?”
