“I’ve never been one to bother reviewing a podcast before but this is so painfully bad somebody needs to talk reality here…so many reviewers of this show must be VERY easily pleased….as it’s absolutely, irredeemably awful. The presenters sound mostly bored, and the level of research is so staggeringly minimal it defies belief. I’ve listened to 6 episodes and 100% of those six these two plonkers mumble and giggle there way through stories which should be amazing. But - here’s the USP of the show I think - instead of being fascinating they manage to make every tale woefully, thudding boring. It frankly sounds like a pair of very bored people talking disinterestedly whilst one of them reads from Wikipedia. In every episode several questions get asked, and the main presenter NEVER knows the answer. Why? Well, it’s clear that there’s zero actual research happening here. It’s cheap cut and paste podcasting at its very worst. I listen to a lot of podcasts of many genres, but I’ve rarely stumbled across such a load of bobbins. I usually love female-led shows, but christ on a bike this pair of people really are two of the worst presenters I’ve ever come across. Whe they aren’t inanely droning they are laughing really inappropriately and taking all the tension of these stories away. They will literally be somberly be discussing someone’s fight against death and suffering, and then they’ll giggle inanely and completely get sidetracked. I cannot fathom why anyone would listen to this when there are so many better podcasts covering the same stuff, but doing it right…life’s too short for this sort of third rate hackery….”
