“I really do want to like this podcast. I believe the intentions of the hosts to entertain and educate are genuine. However, there is an obvious lack of basic research and preparation that I find troubling. For example, on the recent episode about the eruption of Mount Saint Helens one of the hosts said that earthquakes were causing the tectonic plates to move. That is wholly inaccurate. The exact opposite cause and effect relationship is true: The movement of tectonic plates causes earthquakes to occur. In the internet era I find these types of factual inaccuracies to be inexcusable.”
