Authentic, compassionate, and wrenching story of psychological control
Listeners of this podcast access a rare and unfiltered vulnerability. Ashleigh’s story of enduring and escaping the religious cult led by her father is heartbreaking and real. The drama of her story would be reason enough to listen, but it is matched by an empathy and kindness that she and her brother have somehow found within themselves, despite the circumstances of their past. This is the best podcast I’ve listened to in years because it is so real, so raw. And yet, somehow so uplifting. Highly recommend.

First thank you and your guests for being so open in telling everything you’ve all been through! Second it’s open mine and my husbands eyes about the church we just left. So thank you again for sharing hard parts of your life.

The group has a compelling story but the content often consists of long drawn-out stories with useless detail. Also - the ads are LOUD and very off-putting….I recommend the hosts listen to the public version and experience this for themselves.
