On the season finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry is seeing his spite store, “Latte Larry’s” flourish. In fact, his store has lead to “Spite Stores” appearing all over town. For a while, it seems as if his coffee shop is invincible, but that notion is short lived as Latte Larry’s ultimately burns down in a fire. Meanwhile Mocha Joe connects with Alice as soon as they learn they have a common enemy in Larry and opt to sue him for damages.

Tonight we see the battle between Larry and Mocha Joe escalate as it turns out that the former’s place starts seeing success. The mugs, restrooms and Mexican beans actually work. Larry and Mocha Joe get into a price-slashing war. Diane gets fired after dropping her sweat in Larry’s episode. However, she tells Larry that he could have eaten the soup politely and prevented her from being fired. However, Larry sees her dejected at the bus stop and offers her a ride.
