The Cure For Chronic Pain
I learned about Nicole Sachs, LCSW from my amazing pain psychiatrist. I listen to Nicole’s YouTube video daily. I follow her advice to do Journalspeak daily and I meditate daily to deal with my anxiety. It’s work, but, you know what? I have my life back. I had Migraines, Acid Reflux, various musculoskeletal pains that are too numerous to mention, depression and anxiety. I was on the edge of disability and being chained to my bed, missing the activities I love, and missing my “life”. I’m 59 and have suffered TMS since childhood, when I had “growing pains”, headaches that eventually grew resistant to every form of medication available. That was a key factor - the fact that my pain would eventually override every treatment I tried. I am a nurse and the sole source of a paycheck for my family, so I was terrified at the thought of becoming disabled. Nicole Sachs, and her mentor, Dr. John Sarno have changed my life. They have been a voice in the wilderness for patients like me who have been told that our chronic pain is incurable. Not only is it curable, but I am Master of my road to recovery. I’m over the moon about this and beyond grateful for Nicole’s work in getting the information to people like me.
