“It seems to me like anyone with an iPhone has a podcast these days. Thus, the quality and value are wide-ranging, to put it charitably. The quality of The Current Thing, based upon my experience listening to a single episode, is high.
I discovered Nick's podcast as I have others. He plugged it on The Weekly Sceptic which I discovered after hearing it plugged on London Calling which I discovered after hearing it plugged on....
I listened to the episode on which Nick hosted as his guest Fr. Jamie Franklin, one of the hosts of the Irreverend podcast. It was fantastic. Nick was earnest though not overly serious, endlessly curious and polite. He asked great questions and gave his guest the time required to answer. I learned a great deal and believe, if this episode were representative of those to come, that The Current Thing is well worth your time. Give it a listen.”Read full review »
