A sad decline
The problem with a lot of cycling podcasts is that some of the people who love cycling tend to be quite boring and monotone to listen to, which has turned me off to many podcasts in the past. Add to that the fact that most journalists don’t make the most engaging performers is a double whammy. Unfortunately this has happened with this podcast. Gone is the chemistry that I grew to love between the three original members. It feels like it has lost its way since the sad death of Richard, although Daniel and Lionel still make a great double act. But, due to neither of them being on very often now it’s not what it was. It’s a real shame as I really used to look forward to listening to it, but now just feels like background noise, with no real characters.

I stumbled across the podcast midway through the TdF. Interesting perspectives and fun to listen to early podcasts with prior knowledge of race results. The podcasts remain interesting and worth a listen.
