The problem with a lot of cycling podcasts is that some of the people who love cycling tend to be quite boring and monotone to listen to, which has turned me off to many podcasts in the past. Add to that the fact that most journalists don’t make the most engaging performers is a double whammy....Read full review »

I have been a friend of the podcast for many years and have fond memories of Richard and huge respect for what Daniel and Lionel have managed to do in keeping it going. But, unfortunately, it’s become much harder to listen to because Daniel, despite his humour, knowledge and passion, does not...Read full review »

Chapeau and thank you Daniel and Brian for another excellent tour. Tremendous colour and detail and unexpected off-piste extras.

One of the best, most sincere and moving episodes I've heard in years. Lizzy deserves our support. I (we listeners) want to hear Lizzy's voice! Please help her to become a regular on "The Cycling Podcast" as Richard Moore would do. Best to you Lizzy!Read full review »

Great analysis, interviews and insight into Italy. Quality as always

Used to be an entertaining listen but just recently episodes have become way too overblown. I mean, who has the time to listen to over an hours analysis of each stage. Won’t be long before the episodes are longer than the actual stage! Will stay subscribed only for the episodes on the women’s...Read full review »

Knowledge, passion and wit, mixed with more than a pinch of local knowledge and facts make this the best Grand Tour daily recap podcast!

Always tune in for the big tours… just catching up now from beginning podcast of the Giro… great so far, cheers again guys 🙋🏼‍♀️ love from Switzerland

Lionel only appears to flog stuff these days. And the Peleton ads twice an episode without warning are ruining the Giro coverage

A wonderfully insightful and entertaining podcast. Loving Daniel’s easy style of conversation and the team dynamic….a must listen…🙌

Brings the panache of European cycling to the US. Also gives insight into local culture. Great.

Daniel consistently rambles on for almost the whole episode, and interrupts guests on the very rare occasions when they manage to get a word in. Painful to listen to. The faults are pretty obvious and it’s incredible that they haven’t been resolved by now.

Love listening to these podcasts, especially the femme version! Fred Wright’s recon ride was amazing to listen to, just brilliant 😆 Also love Mitch’s enthusiasm for the spring classics, and all the other friends of the podcast who give great incite to the peloton and races.

I like the word play and metaphors used often to describe the events gong on in cycling. The intelligence sometimes conveyed by all involved is appreciated, especially from a bunch of fellow alcoholics.... Thanks! Chiro is way too Nationalist, and rarely says anything of substance, no? Ah, but...Read full review »

I appreciate Lionel is busy busy behind the scenes at TCP but it’s great to hear from him, albeit only occasionally. He’s like an old friend unexpectedly turning up for a cup of tea. A real treat!

Very much enjoying the contributions by newly arrived Richard Abraham.

Long time listener. Consistently the most informative about the world of professional road cycling (with a smattering of cyclocross, indoor track racing, etc.). In its current format with Danial Friebe and his weekly collection of friends and colleagues offers thoughtful analysis and...Read full review »

Another informative and thought provoking edition. Really well done for the treatment of the Pantani question – I think it's so important that we do carry on talking about him. Absolutely agree with the point that there is some inconsistency in the treatment of historical cycling figures. I...Read full review »

Having been a huge fan and good friend of TCP since 2013, I now find it unlistenable. It has lost its fun. Gone are the chatty interactions between knowledgeable enthusiasts, and random detours into culture, food and wine. It has become a series of over long rambling pompous boring monologues....Read full review »

You all could celebrate the achievements and team work of IPT at TDU. Instead we get half baked political waffle. You all are better than that normally

Still great podcast and worthy listen. Daniel and his guests know the peloton. I am glad to still be a Good Friend and whilst Richard is still and will always be missed the show must go on.

It is clear that Richard was the force holding this together. Friebe is simply unlistenable, lost in a world of his own conceit and prolix.

What a great chat with Caleb Ewan! He was so open & honest it made me appreciate just how hard professional cycling is both on & off the bike. Am generally not a fan of sprints, unless Cavendish is there, but after this interview am team Caleb all the way. All the best in 2024.

Listener since pod 1, paid friend for the first time in 23’. Not sure what I’m paying for as “friends specials” seem to have drastically fallen off in 23’ compared to years past. Especially, if you count that Kilometer 0 is now behind a pay wall. Really seems like this needs a refocus or I’m...Read full review »

Just listened to the Rolf Aldag ep. It’s without at doubt one of the best Cycling Podcast has done. Rolf’s honesty with Daniel’s question was refreshing to hear. Finally for the first time a ex-doper has acknowledge the effect and disrespect they had on the riders that didn’t dope and remained...Read full review »

For this pod to get near its former glory, then a new anchor is required, or at least Daniel needs to simply ask the questions without then pontificating his own knowledge and anecdotes (which are vast). Also stop interrupting other’s inputs. In simple terms - talk less! Obviously, no one can...Read full review »

You guys have become unlistenable. Rose, Denny & Lizzy, such a great job covering the Tour de France Femmes, Denny is a natural and with you steering the ship and Lizzy with her calculator it was such a great listen, Denny has to come back. Loved it, well done to all.

I love you guys (Friend of the podcast) but this tour was not about what happened to Poggi, it’s about Jonas being better. Poggi is the best rider in the world but not at this. Why oh why?!? I can’t listen to TCPF anymore because apparently she is a regular these days, and now this?!? Listener and Friend since the beginning, still find this podcast more hilarious and enjoyable than any other. Of course it’s different without Richard (💔) but just as entertaining (LOVED the Giro coverage). Thank you for keeping going and great work on all the new additions to the team.
