I feel like Friebe needs to speak about 30% less and allow his co-commentators to engage more fully in the conversations. Given the great roster of journalists and pundits that appear on the show it is sometimes frustrating when it feels like Friebe is having an extended conversation with...Read full review »

Rose does an amazing job! And so does Denny. The commentator that joined them on 9/20/24 (or whenever that episode came out) was also great. In short, Rose and the crew are doing an incredible job. Well done. Thank you.

I love the way that The Cycling Podcast creates a captivating story and brings the listener into the race. Since finding you last year, I haven’t missed a Grand Tour. I love your style of commentary and the personal stories that you interweave into your show. Thanks for giving us such quality and...Read full review »

I agree with other comments that Mitch, Graham and Richard have restored the podcast to its engaging best. They keep it punchy, amusing (loved the funny tale of their “horror” stay in the kebab shop)and informative. Unfortunately now we are back to Daniel’s rambling and Warbasse’s annoying ‘like’...Read full review »

TdF coverage was back to the very best with great chemistry and an interesting cycling travelogue. Vuelta is over blown and self indulgent. Needs tighter editing to make it less than an hour.

Brings the panache of European cycling to the US. Also gives insight into local culture. Great. Listening to La Vuelta now. Fran is just awesome partnering with Daniel. He brings knowledge of Spain in such a fun and informative way. Another reason the cycling podcast stands out to me is its...Read full review »

I’ve been listening to the CP for a long time and it feels like after an earth shattering event they are now looking outwards, forwards and flourishing again. Wasnt so sure of the new TdF line-up but I warmed to them and Mitch is solid gold! Look after that relationship CP! Rose and Denny are...Read full review »

The changing cast bring new qualities to what is still the best podcast on sports cycling. It’s the mixture of informed journalistic enquiry with affectionate camaraderie that makes it so compelling.

Had a listen during the tdf and it felt like this was back to what it used to be - laugh out loud moments and a real sense of being part of the tour. Mitch sounds great fun and if these three did the podcast all the time it would be superb again. However, I suspect it’ll soon be back to self...Read full review »

I loved this coverage. Really fun mix of cycling chat and experiences of following the race for those of us who don’t get to.

A great supplement to the broadcasts!! Excellent insight and some interviews with the greater and not so famous members of the Peloton.

Any concerns that this years Tour coverage would be diminished by the absence of any of the OG’s were quickly dispelled. The newbies did us proud with great cycling insights and engaging, humorous travelogue. Absolute tour de force.

Having recently gotten into cycling, I was looking for a podcast to provide some insight on the tour. This podcast and its amicable hosts did just that, providing a rundown of each stage’s happenings with good-faith analysis, humor, and friendliness. I’ll be back for next year’s Tour, heck, I...Read full review »

Their way of covering the Tour de France has quickly made this one of my favorite podcasts. Not too nerdy but nerdy enough. There is something here for everyone who loves cycling and life in general. Would add an extra star if a female voice could be heard every now and then. I do understand that...Read full review »

New presenter line-up for the Tour has brought back all that is good about TCP. Informative, light and accessible, occasionally genuinely funny, serious when it needs to be. Back to the best cycling podcast out there.

The new line of of Graham, Richard, and Mitch is great. A breath of fresh air to the podcast. The coverage of the 2024 Tour is exactly what we need. Keep up the good work.

Well done, Graham, Mitch and Richard - you’ve meshed well and are delivering a fresh daily perspective on the Tour, whilst staying true to the roots of the pod. Would be great to hear a montage of Richard Moore’s favorite TdF moments.

We went from a great podcast that had all kinds of cultural and historical information that contextualized cycling—to one that sounds like every other sports commentary—sad changes to the podcast.

Sorry but the current incarnation of TCP is not the real deal or even close. Mitch is great but I catch him on LITP. Tragic circumstances have now meant the Cycling Podcast has lost its appeal to me. The problem with a lot of cycling podcasts is that some of the people who love cycling tend to be quite boring and monotone to listen to, which has turned me off to many podcasts in the past. Add to that the fact that most journalists don’t make the most engaging performers is a double whammy....Read full review »

Used to be an entertaining listen but just recently episodes have become way too overblown. I mean, who has the time to listen to over an hours analysis of each stage. Lionel only appears to flog stuff these days. And the Peleton ads twice an episode without warning are ruining the Giro coverage

A wonderfully insightful and entertaining podcast. Loving Daniel’s easy style of conversation and the team dynamic….a must listen…🙌

Daniel consistently rambles on for almost the whole episode, and interrupts guests on the very rare occasions when they manage to get a word in. Painful to listen to. The faults are pretty obvious and it’s incredible that they haven’t been resolved by now.

Love listening to these podcasts, especially the femme version! Fred Wright’s recon ride was amazing to listen to, just brilliant 😆 Also love Mitch’s enthusiasm for the spring classics, and all the other friends of the podcast who give great incite to the peloton and races.

Having been a huge fan and good friend of TCP since 2013, I now find it unlistenable. It has lost its fun. What a great chat with Caleb Ewan! He was so open & honest it made me appreciate just how hard professional cycling is both on & off the bike. Am generally not a fan of sprints, unless Cavendish is there, but after this interview am team Caleb all the way. All the best in 2024.
