A Different Focus from other actual-play Pathfinder podcasts
First things first, this show has a great cast, who really get into what they're doing (rolling dice and arguing about their imaginary exploits), and has really great production values and engineering. What I personally love about this show is that instead of following an 'on-the-rails' Adventure Path like a lot of other Pathfinder actual play shows, this one feels a lot more like a regular home game where the referee/GM strings together a series of unconnected adventures into an after-the-fact narrative. Adding to the feel of the regular home game are the antics of the characters, who frequently get sidetracked and make a lot of questionable decisions about how to resolve problems. The characters are great and varied, and are much more interesting than your typical 'optimized for the AP' flavorless stand-in or walking clichè of 12-year old boy heroics. It's silly, serious, funny, sad, and friendly. Give it a listen if you're looking for more than just another run-through of yet another Adventure Path.Read full review »

I listen to a few actual play podcasts, and this one is one of my favorites! Fulton Battlestone is my favorite dwarf I have heard played. That character makes me laugh out loud all the time. Keep it up guys

Although i think the team have gotten a little lax recently on punching Velder in the face....Read full review »

The thing that makes this comedy RPG podcast stand out is that, while they are all very funny and I genuinely laugh out loud in public at times while listening, they never loose track of actually telling the story. The quest goes on and it does get tense. Dungeon Master Dan does not make it easy...Read full review »
