“The production of this classic book of fantasy is well done. However, I had forgotten how very poorly written this book was. As someone who was a child in the 1970s, I remembered it as something more Zen what it is. The Dark is so easily defeated, and the 11 year-old so quickly triumphant the n every conflict, it feels more like a quickly executed watercolor painting of a mood than a genuine story.”
