“I've been a single mom for seven years now, raising two kids. When I started listening to Dave about three years ago I was making a very good salary in the IT industry, with the long hours at the office to match. Because it was just me supporting our family, I thought becoming a stay at home parent was an impossibility. However, after taking Dave's advice, and, as he now says "acting my wage", I was actually able to pay off a large amount of debt. Soon, I found I was living well below my wage. So I started a job making less money, working fewer hours, and I from home! Yes, as a single mom, I actually was able to become a stay at home parent. Despite the hit to our income, because I had become more disciplined, our so-called "lifestyle" hasn't changed a bit...except that I sleep better at night knowing the only debt I have in the world is my mortgage.
