WFH: young people
I agree with Zabeen that young people who are working from home are worried about being “out of sight, out of mind,” especially at the start of their careers. How are young people supposed to develop a robust skill set, seek out mentors and find small opportunities to create impact - all from home? I think managers need to be more thoughtful about inviting young people to sit at the table. Ask John for his thoughts on the project direction. Schedule a weekly check-in with Betty to understand what she learnt this week and what she struggled with. Make the young people on your team feel seen and heard, and they will undoubtedly perform with greater focus and confidence.

So many things said in this episode are just not true. Did anyone actually read JKR’s tweets (or Robert Galbraith books)???

I look forward to a new episode every morning and I usually listen immediately. I like the daily updates and how brief these episodes are, just 15-20 minutes of relevant content. I like that the episodes focus on just one topic, allows for more depth. Tamara is a great host!
