“The podcast takes a deeper look at the headlines and puts the important stories into context. The host is a great interviewer and the guests some of who are Globe and Mail reporters are excellent. One small thing was that the podcast doesn’t always keep up with the important stories of the day. Yesterday was a big news day, but the podcast didn’t touch on any of those stories. If they are trying to be a daily news podcast then I expect that the topic is the big news of the day. A few others have mentioned that this show is very similar to Front Burner and the Big Story. I didn’t see how ‘The Decibel’ was different. A show that I really enjoy is ‘Consider This’ by NPR. They offer a different type of storytelling that I enjoy. Good luck with the podcast.”
