Build us up to let us down
Season 1 was amazingly done with great investigative journalism. Ashley and Emily looked into the case, interviewed people, and did their own research to identify and interview potential witnesses, suspects, etc. Season 2 was a long, drawn out and wasteful way to exploit the story for ad reads. The episode drops were 15 minutes with 5+ minutes worth of ads. No investigative journalism was done, and all they did was tell the story. Granted, the story was needed to be heard. But give us a 3 part Deck episode.

The content is great, but the sound effects in the background ms actors reading scripting are distracting. I wish this was like a 5 episode pod, with longer episodes. The whole 18 minute pod is quick and the recaps at the start of each episode wastes time. Again, I’ll listen to it for the content.
