“Ashley has again proven herself to be one of top podcasters in true crime. You can hear her passion for this case in every word. Episode 15 moved me to tears. I was 8 when my 12 year old sister died. 40 years later my aunt found a cassette with her voice on it. It is my most prized possession.
The prosecutor’s sprinklings of condescension is infuriating. He has other cases. We know. He can’t disclose certain things. We know. You can hear how irritated he is in his voice. As if his time is being wasted. He should be grateful that someone else is boots-to-the-ground and found information he can use to solve this mystery. Darlene’s husband and daughters deserve better. The town he represents deserves better. Darlene deserves better. If this is an elected position, he needs to get booted out.
I cannot wait to see how this podcast affects this case.”
