“I'll join the ranks of others who really want to like this podcast but get annoyed by the interrupting of guests and the exclamations of "Dude!" and "Ohhh man!" Adam, I'm looking at you. I have tried multiple times to listen to this podcast because, like so many others, I am a deconstructing/reconstructing believer, and I need all the help and support I can get.
However, interrupting your guests to interject your thought, even if you think you have something awesome to add, is so rude. It's just rude. You ask your guest to join, they graciously oblige, and then you don't let them talk. Have some humility.
Thank you for introducing me to The Bible Project; it's a shame Dr. Mackie couldn't get a word in edgewise. I got halfway through your Bible part 2 episode and stopped to write this review.
I get that you're amateur podcasters, but some professionalism and some editing for quality conversation would go a long way to getting and then keeping listeners.”Read full review »
