“MISINFORMATION!! I can’t believe all the incorrect information the woman was saying in the caesarean story. Caesareans are riskier than vaginal, and saying she looked at the stats for VBAC and it was too “risky”. The stats for something king wrong in c-section are higher. And calling VBACs a “movement”. She sounded really defensive on her choice for a caesarean and therefore was sprouting misinformation. If you’re pregnant DO NOT LISTEN. DO YOUR RESEARCH WITH FACTS! Not with this podcast.
Review on ep 1: Was really disappointed to listen to the first story and find it was full of intervention and an emergency caesarean. It would have been nicer to start this podcast off with a positive birth story. Leigh’s story was also full of misinformation. Foe example her labour was not 32 hours! It was 32 hours from when she was given the first induction drugs to birth. Labour is from 4cm. I implore other pregnant women to do research, ask your care provider questions - don’t just listen to stories like this and assume the person is giving factual evidence, because Leigh’s story didn’t.
Also Kee Reece from mamamia has written a review?! Haha.”
