“I binged this through the Wondery+ app. This is a well-produced and enjoyable podcast. I give special props to the narrator. He was great. But it’s not true crime. It’s fictional and sold as true. That drives me bonkers. That’s why I’m giving it 4 stars.
If you like tales about supposed satanists performing secret rituals in the woods, demon possession, decrepit castles built on magical land, old grimoires, and murder, you will love this podcast. I certainly love stories about that stuff. If they had sold this as fiction, I’d give it 5 stars without reservation. But pulling a Blair Witch type thing, ugh.
But the final 5 minutes... well, I’m just very glad this story isn’t actually true crime.”

“I agree with the other reviews. The music/chords/chimes every 3-4 minutes is very distracting. It takes away from the story. Other than that liking it so far.”
