It's twaddle, but lovely lullaby radio. Presenter Aleks Krotoski's voice is whalesong for the tech literate. Her ideology has acquired the same charming retro patina as the fashion to invent new spellings for old names. She drifts across theme park Europe, a tech guru ironically become a latter day Henry James, a Yankee enchanted by our quaint and beautiful cities. In a moment none more Radio 4, I ate the whole series in one bite on a marathon bike poodle around vineyards in the South of France.
