“I've been a weekly listener to the Dis Unplugged since the roundtable started late last summer and really enjoy the program. I think it may be a little dry for some, but I really like the amount of information and opinion that the members of the roundtable give. As a group of travel agents, Orlando locals, and Disney enthusiasts they know their stuff, and their insight has helped me a lot while planning my upcoming trip.
I think what I like best about the podcast (and what some other reviewers seem to like least) is that the people who run the podcast are as willing to let you know what they don't like about WDW as much they are willing to let you know what they do. For some reason, I find positive reviews of a restaurant, resort, etc. more informative and *credible* when I know the review is coming from someone who won't go out of their way to sugarcoat their views if they don’t like something. It's the kind of no holds barred lowdown I'd want and expect from a friend and not a spokesperson, and that element of this podcast is what makes it such an informative and valuable program for me. When Disney gives me an overwhelming amount of options and I have a limited amount of time to enjoy them, I appreciate some strong opinions that will help me make decisions. The sort of "everything's great!" opinions you get from some Disney fans and trip advisors just aren't as helpful, in part because I just won’t have the time or funds to experience every ride, show, restaurant and resort and so I need to hear what’s most worth my time. I realize that what I like may be different from what they like, but knowing their opinion really helps me to make informed choices.
So if you're looking for a good podcast to give you information and opinions to help you plan for a trip (even if it's a hypothetical one with no dates chosen!), this is a really good choice. If you're just looking for a program to share that Disney joy and fuzziness with you, this might be a little disappointing.”Read full review »

The discussion is witty and knowledgable without falling into the trap that some podcsters do , that is showing off their knowledge for the sake of it. The team obviously enjoy each others company and their...”Read full review »
