“I'm a huge fan of the Dis Unplugged podcast so I decided to give the Universal show a shot. I was really looking for something informative because I haven't been to Universal much and we would like to take our kids there this summer. Personally, it seems like there is more back and forth banter than actual content. Also, I can't tell when the hosts are joking or being serious because there is hardly any voice inflection at all. I might try listening again in a couple of months so please try to be more direct with information and show a little more personality. Everyone is so dead-pan it doesn't translate well in audio.

I wanted to give the Universal show another try, so I just listened to the January 5th 2017 episode. Let me just say that I love the whole podcast team, and it really pains me to say this, but I want to be honest. The show is really, really bad. My original complaint stands - the focus is just so off. There are so many tangents and inside jokes that it made it unbearable to listen to. In the Disney podcast world there are many different types of shows. Some are super informative with news and tips on visiting the parks, and others are for super fans who want to know the history and backstory of Disney. I don't even really know what kind of show this is supposed to be. It's not informative - doesn't help me with trip planning at all, and it's also not super interesting on any other level. I think it's a GREAT idea to have a Universal show on the DIS, but for a Disney super fan who only visit Universal once in awhile, this show definitely isn't for me. I'll still to the DIS Unplugged.”Read full review »

“I’m historically more of a WDW fan but I’ve been increasingly more interested in swapping my Disney trip for Universal. Planning and learning as much as I can before a trip is half the fun for me. However, where you can find dozens of WDW podcasts, blogs, and YouTube channels, I’ve been at a loss...”Read full review »

“The content is fairly interesting, as I'm a fan of the Universal parks. However, and I don't mean this to be harsh, but I don't think that Craig is destined to be an on-air personality. He has a dead pan delivery and it's hard to tell when he's joking or serious. And the...”Read full review »
