“After listening to a couple of episodes, I have some serious concerns. Essentially Mr. H. needs to decide if he wants to educate his listeners, or be a guru, who's thoughts should be digested on faith. For example, talking about preferred stocks, he tells us, "Now is a good time to buy preferreds." But he doesn't tell us why now is a good time. In talking about Technology with his guest from Barrons, the conversation rambles, replete with tech jargon. If you want to talk about 'Push Technology' lets explain just what it is. If you can't explain it, why talk about it. Thinking about the aversion to tech shared by Peter Lynch, Ron Baron, and Warren Buffet, you have to address these concerns: if you don't understand it, or you have no idea if a particular technology will turn obsolete, how can you seriously invest in it. Mr H.- let's get some focus- explain and clarify, no assumptions; no jargon- just educate. And, no one wants to listen to podcasts with two voice streams running on top of each other. Add some discipline to this podcast and it might be valuable to follow.”Read full review »
