“I admit, I am a true Disney fan at heart. However, this podcast gives you a "truth" about some of the Disney movies made. My absolute favorite is the one on Frozen. I have to admit I did read the Hans Christian Anderson about the "Snow Queen", in which the story is "based' on. Well I will not give it away but i STRONGLY reccomend that you read the Snow Queen before you see Frozen. So when Paul (the speaker of this podcast) talks about the two stories, the movie is NOTHING like the originally story. After now hearing this podcast, it made me think about a lot of the Disney movies made. For a lot of these Disney movies, original story tended to be "darker" in its theme. I also like the one on Pocahontas as well. Only that movie, I never saw but unless you learned about the character in the history books, you will get a distorted version from Disney. Highly, highly recommend. Please do more. I would LOVe to learn about other Disney classics such as Mary Poppins or Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.”Read full review »
