Just get to the guest already
I’ve listened to two of your podcasts so far based on the guest that you were having. What I didn’t expect was to have to sit through almost half an hour of the hosts talking about their personal lives and not even knowing half of what they are talking about. In reference to Des Linden’s 50k, someone said “yeah, some guy posted on her Instagram about all the hype about her 50K”. It’s unbelievable to me that people that are hosting a running podcast don’t know what the name of that person is, Carl Meltzer, the goat In the ultra running world, and I can’t believe you guys didn’t know who he was and referred to him as “some guy“. There just seemed to be so much rambling on and a lot of “I don’t know” during the opening discussion. I would highly recommend moving through that section pretty quickly and getting to your guest. I really enjoyed your discussion with the two guests that I listened to.

I agree with Thomas’ last check in, the new format works. Having more time for the random life and running talk is great. Absolutely my favorite podcast. Keep the content coming
