Don’t use for papers
Entertaining but way off base on themes. They miss KEY points in the books and seem to misread characters. It is frustrating when they get plot wrong though—esp major plot points. If you are new to lit or a certain book, refer to additional sources—especially if you are doing a paper. That being said, it’s entertaining and interesting to see how they see the books through their world views and how they got to those thoughts—even if they are off base. Beer reviews good too.

You had me at books and beer! The hosts have great chemistry and funny banter. The book descriptions are accurate and their insights are interesting. Definitely a podcast to add to your rotation!
